Macayla Hassall

You can call me Mac!

 

I'm originally from Queensland, Australia. I started working at Camp Lookout as a Counselor in 2012. Since then, I've had many roles around here, including Art Director and Camp Director! In 2018, I helped launch our newest program, Camp Carvela! 

In my current role, I support programming and logistics at both Camp Lookout and Camp Carvela. I also oversee our wedding venue at Camp Carvela and help couples plan their ultimate wedding weekends! It's a dream job, for sure! 

No matter which hat I'm wearing, I love helping others bring their creative visions to life and creating magic in our everyday moments! You can usually find me covered in glitter and rainbows, or wearing a flower crown. Life is better with a bit of sparkle, don't you think!?  

I live in Traverse City year-round with my husband, Morgan, our daughter, Matilda, and our dog, Mango!
